Abigail Rodriguez is a Suwannee County native, a 1992 graduate of Suwannee High School, and holds a bachelor's degree in dance from Florida International University. She has been a dance educator for 22 years, establishing dance programs at Howard Doolin Middle School in Miami, then at Branford High School, then Suwannee High School, as well as being hired at Danceology to teach hip hop, contemporary dance, and ballet technique.
Abigail feels blessed to have worked with students in these classes and also to have coached several successful competitive dance teams, both in Miami and in Suwannee County schools and at Danceology. She is very excited about sharing her expertise with Suwannee Riverside Elementary. She lives in Live Oak with her husband, Eric, while their twin daughters attend college.

Fourth graders at SRE have the opportunity to participate in the dance classes during half of their music time. At the end of the year, they join the Suwannee High School dance team and perform on stage.
